All joking aside, I wouldn't hate it because I don't have a good feeling about Corral developing and we all know Dalton is just a mentor for a couple of years...not a long term solution at backup.  If we want to develop another QB, now is the time to do it while Dalton is here.

Jones didn't even consult with his head coach before he did this trade.

There is no master plan, just Jerry being hot in the pants about a potential "generational talent" being available on the cheap.

Jerry Jones isn't somebody I typically accuse of having any plan, much less a master plan.

(for the record, neither does Lady Cowboy Fan)

Yep they snatched our 5th round pick his rookie year, Barner. Amongst other mean things they've done to us.

Barner was traded to the Eagles in his second season in Carolina.

Gaffney, don't think he ever touched the ball.

    • He was good Sunday. But that was with us dominating in the run game and really not under much duress.  Start to finish his most consistent effort in his NFL career.  The bar that set is so high compared to his typical performance. And again the conditions were ripe for him to succeed  It was like, okay great but you need to do that every week.  Abd he will never have the gun I consider essential to make people defend the whole field.  So we’ll see.
    • He has a chip on his shoulder about Carolina after we traded him. I don't think he would ever come back here. Unless Dan personally reached out and said it was all Fitterer and we want to fix things with him.
