A Few Players that Deserve a Shout

Nail Diggs makes play after play and never gets any love.

Yeah, fans have been trying to replace this guy for years, but he's been a damn solid LB for us. He may not be as flashy as Beason or Davis, but he gets the job done.

Also, Gary Barnidge is a monster just waiting to erupt.

I get that feeling as well. Just wait until Moore gets comfortable with him. Better pick him up on your fantasy league teams next year.

I agree with all of that, but I'm still no Na'il Diggs supporter.

Huge props to Schwartz and Bernadeau for filling in so incredibly well. O-line guys never get any shred of attention.

From the minute we drafted Barnidge, I knew he could be a great receiving TE. Mad props to him. I hope we see a ton of him next year. I want him to become the next Owen Daniels.

Because Diggs is Solid.thats it.He is like the Tyler Brayton of LB

Perfect analogy. Both are good not great that your always trying to upgrade.

why are you yelling at them, did they do something wrong? i thought they were doing pretty well these past couple weeks. lol

This is true. What matters most is the sum of the parts and not the parts themselves. Our D has been outstanding for most of the last 2/3 the season. And this with guys all over IR. I think we can safely say that Meeks is one hell of a D coordinator and one hell of a hire.

here here to the Diggs supporters. the man just goes out there and does his job.

shout out to rosario. he's had a pretty decent year. i wish the panthers would just move him to wr. theres been times were i've felt he was our 2nd best receiving option.

also, let me give a shout out to my main man kenneth moore. he's had pretty decent year, plus, I just wanted to shout him out..

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
