Did Fox intentionally hold Moore back ?

I mentionaed this briefly in another thread but all I keep hearing Brian Billick say when announcing is hey-in this game you see what you really got with this kid Moore.....see what he can do, see how he handles certain situations. So what does Fox do run...run...run all 3rd and 4th quarter, I mean the frigging wild cat with Brad Hoover....WTF?

Was Fox afraid the better Moore showed out the stupider he looked for not making the switch sooner?

How funny,,,, i just started a thread about the same thing. That pissed me off so much, the play calling in the 3rd and 4th qtr.

Foxy didn't want to run up the score against his pal, Payton, nor put his players in jeopardy by having to run all over the field. Sucks, but it's the truth.

Don't really give a sh1t about Sean Payton..............he's on his way to the playoffs with a franchise Qb.

We need to know who our franchise Qb is?

Can't find out running Brad Hoover.

So use Charley Martin, Kenneth Moore, D Jarret and see what they and Matt Moore have. Also, who is our TE keepers? Is it Rosario? Barnridge? These are things we could have gotten some insight into in real game time situation instead of preseason.

Yeah, they just weren't running up the score. A lower draft position for the Panthers also benefits the Saints, indirectly.

When u are up... run the ball... run time off the clock.. and let ur d continue to stop them = win the game in Fox's system. That's what he did. Moore did exactly what Fox wants out of a QB... managed the game and didnt turn it over.

Seriously... we have been doing this for 8 years. It was just more of the same not a conspiracy to "hold Moore back."

I am not in the camp of Fox "holding Moore back"; I just think running on every single play for 2 Qtrs in a game when you should be seeing what you have at QB and WR is kind of ridiculus.
