If we do end up with the 1st pick it’ll be because Bryce is that bad. So had we not traded up and say rolled with Dalton we wouldn’t have ended up with the 1st pick

That’s how I’m choosing to cope with that

Honestly I can't see Bryce being successful this season. This team lacks talent mostly on the offense side. Bad Oline and no legit WRs.

We will be in the conversation for worst record all season.

I am looking for progress from Bryce but realistically he can’t succeed with this supporting cast right now

Agreed.

Even when he does have a little bit of time to throw nobody is creating separation.

I remember people thinking our Oline was finally legit before the season. Turns out we have a bottom 5 Oline.smh

Supporting cast includes the coaching for me.  Bryce can be great if we can build around him

I have no idea why he would go there.

If I were Dabo I would go to one of the Florida schools. Miami/FSU/Florida

Because the ACC will be absolved here soon. UNC will go to the B10 and their average football program will become Maryland.

No it won’t.  This isn’t all about football, there are other sports involved.  You are just annoying so bravo you reached your goal here

    • I mean, if Moore really wants out, then it would behoove the Bears to make it happen sooner than later. X is a lot younger and cheaper, and may be a better fit for Johnson's musings than a disgruntled, unnecessary, overpaid vet. If they can dump his salary and maybe get a fourth or so in return, it may be worth it to them. As for development, I'm not concerned. You're talking about a seeming bust, a day three guy and a UDFA. They are developing relative to their ceilings. I doubt any of them will ever command the coverage, money, or the respect that Moore has acquired. He's a tier above them. Yes, even X.
    • IMO, if Ceedee plays against us, the game probably goes the other way. Same with Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Our team just isn't designed to beat teams with two high level receivers like that. But when you look at the league, how many teams really have two guys of that caliber?  There's nothing wrong with defensive adjustments, but sometimes I think a lot of fans want Evero to call a different play like a game on madden, and defensive football just isn't like that. That said, I thought we did a much better job this season against the Cowboys of flipping Jaycee and at least making them work for it, opposed to last season when they literally just lined CeeDee up on the other side of the field every single snap.  For us to just straight up switch to consistent man coverage, or a different zone, or whatever, we likely would consistently need different personnel on the field. Doing it a few times a game is a gamble and can work, but if we consistently run man coverage against the Cowboys, eventually a RB is going to beat a linebacker, or something of that nature with our personnel. Part of the reason Evero likes this scheme is that, while we have our defaults and presets, what we do is very multiple, and you can do a lot of different things pre and post snap. We are a challenging defense to read. But as you said, if guys are getting beat, it doesn't really matter what you call.
