I’d rather Tom start a AHL team in NC/SC but Chicago is the safer $$$ bet.

I still don’t understand why the Checkers didn’t work out. It seemed like a no-brainer. I used to love going to the games in Charlotte and watching our prospects, but I haven’t been since the affiliation change.

Financial issues, Checkers wanted money, Canes didn’t want to give it to them.

I’ll say this.

Being an affiliate with Chicago should allow us to continue getting our prospects signed.

These young kids like to play in big cities and they’ll arguably be playing in front of the best crowd in the AHL.

I have a lot of respect for the Wolves fans but fug their owner.

FUS has gone from third line to first line in the span of like a week. If he’s not on the canes roster next season he better be in Chicago.

So we basically are going to be able to put a full roster of canes prospects on the ice in Chicago next year.
