Just speculating... I wouldn't be surprised if Frank or Fitt is fired soon. Very soon.

Id give them one more year because if you fire them then you have to totally overhaul the scouting dept and I have a feeling that would take time

From what I can tell it looks like it needs a total overhaul anyway so might as well get started. It won't be any quicker and easier after another year of bad moves and a deeper hole dug.

At best, Boobie and Hunter were a big waste of money. I thought Hurst would be better. I thought Sanders was somewhat redundant, but I was hopeful. Good thing that the coming cap situation is tenable. We're still going to have to upgrade the positions though. Waste of cap space and roster spots, and perhaps speaks to impatience (which may lead back to Tepper).

My only concern is firing the FO and keeping any part of the coaching staff. Feel like we’ve been alternating now for years and it hasn’t worked out at all.

You really want to give David Tepper the task of rebuilding everything from the ground up?

We can talk about him using a consultant like Kevin Colbert or someone, but if we go that route I'd rather no moves be made until that consultant is on board and has had a chance to look over the organization from top to bottom.

If we think he's the right guy then give him the job. But I'm not gonna hang onto the wrong guys for fear of losing an underling in the process.

We just won our first game and don't know yet how this season is going to end.

I'm not really up for making that kind of decision until we see how this plays out.

If we see improvement by the end of the year, are you still going to be on board with firing everybody?

Yeah it’d have to be someone like that even though the last time we went that route we ended up with gettleman

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
