Just speculating... I wouldn't be surprised if Frank or Fitt is fired soon. Very soon.

Here is what I can do for you....I can find your team saying X and X not ending up being the truth on many occasions.  And I can do that for essentially every single NFL team.  Again, you some how have opted to selectively remove from this equation what NFL teams have proven to be year after year after year after year after year.

I know what Frank's O is.   It's what we installed here.  My proof of that is in Indy and SD.   There also is just flat out common sense being applied there too.  And not letting some fluff article from a team that is set on painting an image/idea....trump everything we actually know.

I have no idea how much Brown has been involved and the room he has had in tweaking Frank's O.  How much power he had then....and how much power he has now that Frank suddenly deemed his offense clicking and in a big enough groove and successful enough to hand over....meanwhile it was  0-6 and one of the worst offenses in the NFL (and clearly NOT what Frank claimed it was when he on his own accord, according to him, decided to hand it over to Brown)

Thomas Brown: "I wrote the offense"

CRA: "No, you didn't, because I said so!"

Who to believe? 🤔

Step one: not CRA

That fine.  Listen to whoever you want.

All I know is, I essentially spoke on and called everything that has been happening this season before the season kicked off.   And people didn't like that.  That's not true CRA, Fitt said X.  Frank said Y!!!!

I did the same last year too.   That season played out exactly how I said.  My batting average is pretty freaking strong of late in terms of this team.

Does that make me smart? No.  I just don't listen to a NFL team blowing bullshit anymore.  And bad franchises spew way more bullshit than good ones.   And that bullshit they spew is often the basis of a lot of your lecturing.

Well in this case, it would be the facts according to Thomas Brown.

Would you suggest that you have more intimate knowledge of what actually happened than he does?

What exactly is Thomas Brown supposed to say if what Frank Reich has already told everyone isn't true?

What if Thomas Brown actually believes he had legit input into the playbook if Reich basically paid him lip service while basically installing his playbook? Have you never been involved in a situation where you watch someone get manipulated into believing what they want to believe already by a skilled manipulator?

I mean, I'm watching it right now. 😂

Actions speak louder than words. I'll always lean more heavily on actions and results vs. pre-season PR pieces. I mean, I honestly thought the Panthers were overselling how much they believed this team was ready to compete until I watched them operate this off-season. They weren't lying. They believed that poo.

You're seriously arguing that Brown might have lied about having written the playbook? And this at a time when nothing yet had even happened?

Damn, dude.

I've gotta believe this is just because you want to argue with me, which basically means that's so important to you that you're willing to go out on a limb and say stuff this crazy.

Then you turn around and say I'm the one that insists on being right no matter what?

Oy 😖

It's all so predictable. 😂

No, can't say I ever would have predicted anyone actually arguing something as ridiculous as this.

Do you guys so desperately need me to be wrong that you'll resort to arguing this kind of goofball conspiracy stuff?

That sounds like an emotional issue.

Looks like Brown definitely had some input. To what degree is anyone’s guess.

Philosophies and such, yes.

The actual playbook? Brown describes that here...

Because one is reporting and one is speculation.

"I think we're ready to win' is an opinion. Maybe it's genuine, maybe it's not, but you can judge that by the situation.

"I wrote the offense" is a statement of fact. What point would there be lying about it prior to the season even starting?

lollers

    • Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.
    • Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.
    • Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
