Worst All-Time In-Game Entertainment

Last 2 seasons they have had that mascot game during night games - that game is the one game my daughter looks forward to all year long. She's had to miss it since those games are way too past bedtime. First year it happened, we just hoped she'd forget so never told her. So the last game of the year when she said - yay, today is the Mascot game and we had to tell her then.....it was not pretty. She cried for the entire first half of the game - and not just a whimper cry, it was hysterical crying for a good 15 minutes followed by just normal crying. Then when they did it again this year, I wrote a letter to the panthers basically telling them they sucked.

And if you're talking about all entertainment, not just halftime entertainment - anyone remember those jeep races from a few years back on the big screen. Dumber than dumb.

Here are some nominees:

--celebrity look-alikes--hasn't been a good one in 5 years

best look a like ever...

I will say this... and it pains me to say it but... I went to see our game in New England this year. That fan experience there is AMAZING! They all stand a get loud on 3rd down... the announcers call for it! They play music made in the last 10 years... the players dig it! When their team is on offense... the thin screens btwn the club level and the upper deck (just like the ones we have) say "SHHHHHHHH! OFFENSE AT WORK!" and get this the fans were quiet... those same screens in our stadium just show focking VIC card adds. They had far less ads in general on their scoreboard and they kept the fans into the game... they even showed replays of challenges repeatedly.

Crazy poo, I know.. but it was awesome and it felt like we were there for one reason... football.

The Panthers organization needs to take note. They are being outdone.

I always go get a beer and check out the ladies walking around @ halftime but the coolest look-a-like happened years ago...we were playing the Falcons on Sunday Night Football and 'The Patriot' was being filmed here in the Rock Hill area....they flashed a Mel Gibson 'look-a-like' up on the screen and it was actually him!

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
