Cal Burke wasn’t on my radar, I had to look his stats up, his AHL stats didn’t impress me and only 2 games with Avalanche in NHL. Walt says he will play if Aho who is doubtful doesn’t play. He only lives 50 miles away from Denver in Loveland. Maybe he will be a nice surprise… we shall see.

Did we “morning skate?” Just saw the tweet. Looks like even the PR folks are playing it coy.

I would go with Koochie in net, but I think he needs a lot of playing time so we can hopefully rely on him as the season goes on.  I think Raanta is done after this year (as in retirement).

Koochie has flashed, but we need to see if he can solidify himself as a starting NHL goalie sooner than later.
