I wouldn't have been surprised if the committee had Iowa State leap frog us as a #1 and I honestly wouldn't have been made about it. We lost to a team that was gonna miss the tourney while they beat #1 overall by damn near 30.

The media had the ACC wildly underrated. ESPN only has four teams projected in.

Pretty messed up for them to give a 1 seed a potential away game in the elite 8. I wonder if it would have been better to get a 2 seed in a different region.

It didn't matter how it played out. We were getting paired with Arizona.

Half surprised to not see the committee put Kentucky, Kansas, and Wisconsin in UNC’s region. Those three teams have been fairly common opponents for the Heels in the tourney. They did sneak Michigan State in there though.

Now that Roy has retired the KU matchup doesn't have near the storyline to it.

I would've welcomed them this year though. Sucks for them but they suffered some very key injuries late and they're reeling.
