I love him as a prospect but I really think he does. I have him as QB #3 but with his question marks I have him going as QB 5 or 6 depending on if a team really likes Riley Leonard from Duke.

Penix is better than Riley Leonard but that ain’t saying much.  Penix looks good right now but he does throw a lot of jump balls that his WRs win on.  Those are INTs in the league

I'm always nervous about the older guys. Joe Burrow is the only one I can recall being a big hit. I think the combo of age and prior serious injury not to mention other good QB prospects available will push him out of the 1st, but someone might take a shot in the late 1st for that 5th year option.

So if Donk beats the Holes, NC Stunt and the other two will all have the same record lol.

Doubt Duke can win this unless UNC's run defense looks similar to how it did against Tech. Gonna be without Riley and to be frank, Duke's backup QBs just aren't ready to be getting significant action yet. Every game Riley's been out you can tell they're basically playing wet nurse with them to keep them from sinking the game. There some shaky message board rumors that Duke may be getting some of it's injured defenders back but i'll believe those when I see them on the field, lol. Teams' been decimated by injuries down the stretch and doesn't have the depth to replace them.

Never, ever underestimate the UNC defense to completely check out by half time and make a scrub QB look like Mike Vick. if Carolina’s defense just played average - bare minimum- heels are 9-0.

no intelligent UNC fan is gonna be shocked to see Duke win because the defense just doesn’t care.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
