Okay Dwill and Stew compare to Sanders Chubba and Blacksheer(who they don’t use).. Didn’t fumble ran hard better pass catchers faster (both were big play threats) and again we had 2 of them.. Stew as a power back in this offense would feast and be exactly what we need now..

I’m not reading 9 pages…but this sounds like a “Cam had a better team” argument.

Just stop. Doesn’t matter.

Cam immediately made it clear he not only belonged, but could be a dominate player in the NFL.

He would have done likewise as a rookie on this team.

Has little to do with wins and stats. It’s about the ability the player flashes independently.

Bryce has had a max of a handful of plays if we are being generous, but I can only think of one throw to Theilen off the top of my head.

Cam showed you every game. Even his shitty games.

Bryce struggles to get 150 yards. Cam sleep walks past 150 yards.

Let’s stop disrespecting Cam.

Point to one example where Bryce had an even remotely clean pocket and wasn't able to make the throw?

Seriously, show me one example.  People are just making sh*t up at this point.

There is a litany of film showing Bryce slinging the ball 50 yards.

There is some Alfred Hitchcock level gaslighting going on in here... jesus christ

oof

keep coping

That’s BS ..

Stroud been that dude since HS just like BY He’ll still be good year after year .. Both have talent and have been top QB most their lives.. Stroud has a good situation now BY doesn’t.. It is what it is..

Just saying that 11 games one way or the other doesn’t make a career. It could very well take Bryce 4-5 years for the light to come on. What is evident right now is he cannot decipher real or fake blitzes

To explain why it doesn’t matter. Thought that was clear.

Cam contributed to his team getting better.

Bryce contributed to his team getting worse.

Now that’s something that isn’t debatable.

Completely agree..

Just saying I feel both will be good.. And both have been good for a long time..

This isn’t the 1 year wonder or off the field bust situation..

Both were good prospects and should be really good pros..

1. Point is he did.. This isn’t predictions Smitty was a top number 1 wr for years after Cam’s rookie season.. Cam literally had a number 1 wr threat BY doesn’t.. Thelien is a 2 or 3 on teams with more talent.. Are you arguing what you thought would happen or what actually happened??

You don't get it. You're using the benefit of hindsight. Going into the 2011 season we had no idea if Smitty would or could bounce back. Very few players in that situation do. Having a legit franchise QB feeding them the ball certainly helps.

    • They've gone way overboard with the masking of plays by only filming the ball in air.  Nobody is analyzing camp highlights.
    • Canales up first. Guys got their legs back yesterday and started a little slow when they came out Bryce challenged them in the huddle and they responded "Dominant practice for the defense today." Praised turnovers, "beautiful hits," and being physical Praised Moehrig, Ransom, Incoom, and Jones II Confirmed playing starters. Predominantly a young team and can't pass up an opportunity. Emphasized game day routines such as nutrition, body readiness, etc. Plus it's a bunch of new guys on the defense. Bryce will start. Will play them the first two, but starters might sit for the third game depending on how practice goes that week. Nic Scourton has a mild hamstring that happened in special teams. DJ Johnson had an issue with his hip flare up and is getting checked out this afternoon. Experimenting with approach to preseason games. In Seattle they played their starters in all but the last preseason game and what Pete Carroll was looking for in terms of mental readiness to play football. Thomas Incoom has been getting a lot of work with AC Carter adding to his toolbelt. Getting better as a rusher and being physical in the run game. Looking for a consistency in response. 1pt for a win, 3pts for a TD. Defense doesn't like that, but in games if they give up one go ball the score can swing. They challenged the pass game and the run game today. Guys are getting together before, between, and after team drills to challenge each other Job of the coaching staff to set the foundation for our schemes, philosophy, and expectations of what it's like to play Panthers football. Powerful when players take that and the locker room owns it. That's when it becomes our team, their team. At the end of the day, the men on the field have to rebound from a bad play, celebrate the good plays, and keep each other in tune for a whole game. Robert Hunt is amazing. Size, talent, quickness, flexibility. Really intelligent guy that there will say himself there are technique things he needs to work on. Regardless of where players are at, there's a constant learning curve and loves that Big Rob is challenging himself with the position coach. Thinks the digital down and distance can be really valuable. Getting the information quickly will help with the flow of the game. Thought TMac looked great but there were some near misses that he'll have to get in the room and communicate with Bryce on while reviewing film. James Mitchell keeps doing right and his trust factor is increasing with the QBs. If you're right and the coverage says the ball goes there, it'll come. Had some issues at the start of camp but is trending up. Newton or Person: "It looked like today was beyond thud but short of live. What do you call that?" Canales: "No, that's thud. In my mind, that's what thud should look like. The challenge for our defensive guys is can you put your body in a position where we know that would've been a tackle." Whizzing by, tagging with two hands, etc doesn't show you whether you would've made a tackle. That's not real football. Let's the play extend because guys have to be ready to chase sometime where the ball squirts out from a pit. Can't train to say "Ah, it was a tackle" and relax but instead play with intensity through the whistle. Lathan Ransom is bringing the physical style of play that they saw on film. Has been really into the details and someone that they can count on. Has really given himself a chance to start at the other safety position. Excited for the extra energy from a game-like environment that they'll get from FanFest. Used to have four preseason games and now FanFest feels like that first one. Will give ST full speed reps to evaluate. Making plays and feeding off of the fans. Window closed quickly on the INT to finish practice. CSW baited Bryce with some movement and made a great play. Saw it from Bryce's perspective with TMac coming open. Has played all over the secondary that they can count on to speak loudly and be on the same page with his teammates.
