sports dont involve motorized vehicles, anyone of those little squeakers would be on a gurney in a real sport

I bet most of them could kick Tiger Wood's ass. (not Gordon or Logano)

its a physical skill to masturbate, is that a sport too?

If it were organized and they held competitions, then yes.:D

Didn't say the drivers weren't athletes- they are. But the NASCAR event itself is not sport.

No other sport changes its rules from one week to the next.

No other sport changes its rules to allow for a substandard product having a better chance of keeping up.

No other sport dictates one type of competitor (car) can do one thing but another competitor (car) cannot.

NASCAR doesn't change the rules weekly but several times a year. NFL does as well.

Profit sharing and luxury tax in MLB and NFL and probably other sports

I know you said week to week, and NASCAR has pretty much done that the last few years, but it's a sport based on technology and technology is constantly changing.

MLB changes

instant replay rule

changing playoff system by adding new divisions (wild card)

lowering the height of the mound

NFL changes their rules too much too to make the sport safer and to make it seem as if they are on the moral high ground.

MLB and NFL must not be a sport either due to too many rule changes.

NASCAR has to have rule changes to keep teams competitive, but the points changes and chase changes are crap. That's when it all started to go downhill. That and a lack of true individuality between racers and tracks. But constant rule changes doesn't make it not a sport.

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
