Was he never approached about taking over this franchise? Did he have no interest? Or has this, indeed, been a PLAY ALL ALONG to get this team relocated in the long term? Anyone have any insight?

I never ever thought I'd say this but I'd actually be happy if Tepper moved the team, I'd be my final nail in the coffin for cheering for this franchise and I'd feel liberated to follow a team that isn't run by a narcisstic lunatic who thinks he knows anything about professional football.

From a previous employee, Mark Richardson once threw a massive temper tantrum (and may have even threatened to fire somebody) over someone leaving a newspaper in the wrong place.

I feel pretty comfortable saying Mark would have been an unmitigated disaster.

Jon might actually have done okay, but he passed away so...

There was a lot the Richardson family had to cover up with Mark. Including involvement with a South Park madame employee and wanting to abandon the family. There was a reason Jerry cut his kids out.
