And that’s fine. We ain’t friends. He doesn’t need to worry about the millions of fans who thinks he blows; use that as motivation to get better and avoid playing in the XFL in two years.

Ok…

Weird as usual

Get back to delusional UNC posts

Don’t feel bad for him 1 bit. He has lived a life of privilege. Not hating on the man, just don’t feel sorry for him.  Some may call it a blessing even, to have his career flameout before he gets CTE.  Feel the same for Frank Reich…he is getting paid….ungodly amount from 2 organizations for failing….if you ask me ….they are winning at life compared to most.

Have you seen some of his progressions and decision making? Are we sure he doesn’t have CTE?

We'll know more about BY as the season winds down and how he treats this offseason.  He has never slacked as far as working to get better during the spring/summers and worked under Adam Dedeaux 2 years in a row (along with Stroud this past summer).  I am sure if he works with Dedeaux again his footwork will be a focal point.

I think he'll work on his strength, conditioning, and agility more this offseason too.

I am with Shocker on BY, he has stayed positive in public and hasn't once pointed any kind of blame on the coaches/teammates/etc.  He has the traits to be a good leader, I won't pass judgement until he has an offensive line, receivers/TEs, and a coaching staff who will build around his strengths.  That's what's been so frustrating for me - all star coaching staff doesn't have the combined intelligence to design an offensive system that fits your QB and the personnel you have; no...keep trying to push that square through the round hole you dummies.

How fast do you think you could process your progressions with our o-line and receivers who don't have great separation/space generation?  Play your first professional games having less than 3 seconds to process (terrible) routes and spacing and see if it messes with your psyche.

BY and the Panthers need a hard reboot.  It sucks, but it's where we've been driven to.

He’s a good kid. I don’t know him but he seems like he has a solid foundation and ain’t gonna do anything to embarrass himself or the team in the offseason. He does have poise and appears to be very mature. Doesn’t strike me as a jerk, either. it ain’t personal.

it’s one of those paradoxes do you want to win with goons and criminals or lose with model citizen choir boys. I absolutely loathe Tyreek Hill but the man can play football.

BY deserves another year. It’s only fair. But the great ones can still ball out with scrubs. The legends can make chicken salad out of chicken poo.

Buddy he ain’t getting through four levels of progressions on this team. It’s 1 to 2. If nothings open run for your life or take a sack.

I can empathize with him and anyone in terms of working toward a goal and falling short. Sucks when that happens to people particularly when they are younger.  But dude has a huge golden parachute so no, I don’t feel one bit sorry for him.  If this football thing doesn’t work out he will simply go into early retirement with millions in the bank.  He will land on his feet.

Tommy DeVito is having a better game right now than I’ve seen from Young all season. DeVito was sleeping in his moms basement two weeks ago.

I believe the Giants coaches have done a much better job for DeVito and dumbing down everything as much as possible while still using motion, Barkley, a TE (Waller who is good when healthy) and at least 1 maybe 2 receivers that would probably be our WR1 and WR2.

do you consider TB12 a legend, maybe the GOAT??  He got outta New England when it was clear he wasn't going to have any good weapons to throw the ball to and wound up in Tampa Bay with Mike Evans, Godwin & Co.

    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
