Jamie Dukes is a moron!

So I have the NFL Network and every time Jamie Dukes is on, he acts as if he is so high and mighty and knows everything. He argues on every single detail that the other guys mention about a certain topic (which I know it is suppose to be debatable) but damn, this dude doesn't shut his mouth. Does anyone else find Dukes annoying?

Oh and did I mention that he worships the ground that Michael Vick walks on?

That Jamie Dukes offering his opinion on things. Its like he played football or something and is paid to do it. He is such a jerk for actually talking and not just sitting there quietly.

Plus he likes Michael Vick so he must be a bad person.

:)

I know he played football, but so did most of the other guys on there... My thing is that he gets so defensive on the show when someone states their opinion

He said he would choose micheal vick over anyone in the NFL to build a franchise around, that crosses the line of colorful debate.

Agreed, Dukes thinks he's Vince Lombardi - he's always cutting people off and challenging everything they say. He really seems to have a hard-on for Steve Wyche... poor Steve can't say anything without Dukes jumping all over him and telling him he's wrong.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
