Carolina is 4-5 in OT/SO this year. Neither of the goalies have been good in shootouts.

If the Canes don't win in regulation, odds are less than 50% they'll win in OT and even lower in the SO.

Carolina on consecutive nights, left it all out there. Binnington played very well and Carolina had no puck luck around the net.

Canes aren't terrible in 3v3 OT. SO though they stink.

My dude, like a lot of us, has Raanta shell shock but tonight was special.

we got a point vs a western conf foe. The point only helps us. Game was really good.  We are gonna have games like this but it was a good one. Our shoutout stinks but I kinda wish they would do away with the skills competition shootouts. Listening to the players and rod, they hate shootouts.  Just run OT until someone scores.

They do this to save teams from working their players to death in the regular season. 5 Min OT and then SO is ideal.

There have been some seasons we crush at the SO, so no complaints about the system. It's just us that has to get better.

I was not happy with rods order of shooters besides burns though. Burns is a good lead off man. I really would have liked to see svech and Pono though. TT and Marty man were iffy in the slots they were picked. Also, I love Aho but that may have been his first goal on the S/O in a few years, he’s not a safe bet on the S/O but he paid off this time.

3v3 and S/O are where we really miss Necas.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
