If I'm being 100% honest I'll probably yell and scream at the TV as if Fox and everyone could hear me. Then when Jake throws an inevitable pick 6, I'll throw my hat and scream some more and turn the game off during the second half if jake is still the starter because my blood pressure will be so incredibly high that I might stroke out if I watch the second half.

and if moore ends up coming in the second half i'll have to catch the highlights on ESPN.

LOL ESPN wont show our highlights unless we're playing the Cowboys or Brett Favre

If he starts it will be because he looked better in practice and during camp and the preseason, so I would hope he continues his good play. I would also be pretty pissed at Moore for losing the starting job after he had it in his grasp. After all even if Jake played the whole year he isn't the long term solution which Moore obviously could be. It would mean Moore has continued to lack the desire and aggressive nature needed by NFL quarterbacks to lead a group of professionals in a single direction.

But hopefully this doesn't happen, Moore plays great out of the chute, and Jake can sit back and carry the clipboard all year long.

Do you believe that Fox will truly let this be an open competition?

Cause I know I do not trust him at all when it comes to his willingness to go with anyone other than Jake. If Jake does "win" the spot, I will 100% believe that it was for no other reason than he is Jake Delhomme.

*and I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything, I seriously want your opinion*

If anything I expect he will be skewed toward Moore rather than Jake. This is Fox's last year. And likely Jake's as well. Fox is either auditioning for another 5 years here or somewhere else. He surely won't let personal feelings get in the way of winning. His reluctance last year to put in Moore was mostly about Moore doing little to show what he had rather than faith in Jake. This year is different because Moore has proven to be a winner and Fox knows he can be trusted to go out and play well. This year is totally different from last year.
