Need to at least see the rest of the FA moves on defense to get an idea of how many points we're going to give up per game on average. Right now it looks like around 30 points on average

Fair.

DB might get 250 tackles for us next year because I'm not sure who else we are going to have out there that can tackle

Yeah Canales wants to be run first, yet we gutted our defense so we're gonna have to pass. A little confused about the vision

Yeah, I have no clue what our front office is doing. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem bringing nobody back and playing a "the Replacements" talent level of a team to tank. I'm just confused why they then give a guard a $100 million contract off 1 career year on a team that had weapons galore that could get open in a heartbeat.

To make Tepper happy. Give his little pet project Bryce the most ideal scenario possible to show he's a competent game manager so Tepper feels better about his trade up

We have by far the worst roster in the NFL, outside of Brown, we don't have any difference makers on the entire roster at the moment, maybe Horn if he can stay healthy.

Which means we'll be easily the worst predicted record by every expert

Which in turn means we'll of course finish with like 5 or 6 wins and end up around pick 7 or so, because that's just what happens every year lately with the "worst team in the NFL" predictions.

    • I mean, he's a professional athlete.  What you think as a fan vs what he should think as a player are completely different.  Being bad doesn't mean you should lack confidence in yourself, and really that is true in all forms of life.  Do everything you want to do with confidence. Justin Fields sucks, but does he ever play like someone who doesn't believe in his own abilities?   Obviously you need more than confidence to be a high-level NFL player, and Bryce will never be that.  But he could still create 2-3 extra plays a game if he allowed himself to play more "free" like he did in the second half of last season.  The fact he refuses to use his legs to pick up yards nowadays hurts this team.  Simple things like that would go a long way for us, even if not for him.
    • I've always thought it odd that the QB is the only guy in the roster who carries a record. If a RB puts up 1200 yards but the team sucks then everyone still says the RB had a good year. If a QB puts up good numbers put the D is atrocious and the win loss record isn't great due to that then the narrative is that the QB can't win. Now that we're finding a way to win with suddenly dominant D and dominate running game people are trying to shift to this "Bryce is just a winner" narrative while he puts up bottom of the league numbers while near the top of the league in turnovers. It's just funny to watch.
