I want to see Bryce Young call up his new receiver, and the other receivers, and start working with him on his own

where is he ?

most qbs do these things and do things with their teammates away from the facility during off season

My college QB and WR’s are down in Miami right now practicing with Shedeur Sanders and his squad.

I would hope our pro QB is doing something similar, learning from people better than him.

I’m sure he will, guys. I don’t think work ethic is an issue for him. The question will be talent and ability. I’m willing to see what he can do with better support.

You don't think work ethic was an issue last year? Corral was the first on the field in camp, Bryce wouldn't sign autographs at first, did zero footwork, didn't gain any weight, I thought he came in completely entitled and got his ass handed to himself for it

Put it this way, if he doesn’t bust his butt this off-season to improve, I’m done with him. I think he will, though.

Agree

for  the sake of the team he needs to pick it up and with this staff it’s not going to be tolerated…they didn’t draft him   He won’t be coddled

and 2.7 seconds is his measurement and he needed one

I still remember his having to be told to stop wasting time getting to the line, be up tempo, show urgency

very very lackadaisical and the whole team picks up on that

he seems to have an odd personality for a qb   He is  by  no means an alpha and that’s ok if he gives his team a chance to win and executes

Honestly, he reminds of a teen age boy who has to be told to pick up his room and make his bed within a day of being told

I don’t get that off him. I get he is doing the best he can, and trying the same things that worked for him against college players and that is what you get.

    • Yeah it is nice seeing some improvement on the defensive side and the young guys.   I don’t want to think about the future much if Bryce doesn’t heal and we are kept in this limbo via an incomplete test. It is depressing  I don’t have quite as dim a view of the 24 draft class as you do   I have modest hopes for XL compared to none. I like CSW.  Am a little cooler on Sanders but at the same time realized this week that Morgan getting that future 2nd for moving down turned into Scourton. I think. Jackson is a real value in exchange for the guy we took with the 7th. I don’t expect anything from Brooks but Wallace seems to have improved enough to not bust. And Coker is in with them, but is giving us nothing this year. So far, and it is almost half over     I hope Andy still has enough to make watching the offense less of a claustrophobic experience. And there is a small chance we upset the Bills but just playing them tough and making it a fun game to watch will be enough.
    • Bryce haters gunna hate.  Can't change that. Bryce has been pretty durable all things considered.  A couple minor injuries considering how much he was hammered year 1.  And he still takes hits.  Dude is tough. The play in question is a football play, poo happens.  That's ultimately what happened.  Guys running around, trying to stop Young and stuff happened.  Sucks but that's how it goes. For me, I'd rather see Young play.  He will either prove that he's the Dude, a JAG (leaning heavily right now), or an outright bust (some of you were there on draft night, lol)
    • I think we need to let the 2025 class develop. Remember at one point early during last season the 2024 class was gonna be a killer. And we had all kinds of people chirping about how the 2021 Draft was the greatest of all time. Early returns are promising. Let's hope it continues.
