Rod is a great coach but at this point he’s just hoping that the top line or defense wins us games.

The other three lines are not providing any offense whatsoever.

Load up the second line with Teravainen, throw Drury on the third to complete the forechecking line, and put Svech on the fourth with the hope that he can take advantage of easier matchups.

Disagree. Our 3rd line is forecheck… like all the lines should be doing nearly every single shift. No they don’t always provide goals. But they provide our much needed offensive pressure. 4 is decent at forechecking. 1-2 are more run and gun, neither line is setting up forechecks.

Can’t win the cup like that and I’ll die on that hill.

Need contribution from all lines because eventually one of the top two lines is going to get shutdown.

Just look at Vegas last year, their 3C had 11 goals in the playoffs.

Expecting one or two lines to carry you to the cup is a recipe for disaster. Only way it could potentially work is if the defense contributes at an elite level.

We’re seeing first hand tonight what happens when the top line doesn’t score.

    • I only used it because it’s being said he can’t.  I’ve said this 100 times already but these deep passes people get obsessed with are much more on the WR than the QB. If Burrow throws a bomb to Chase and he is either wide open or makes a catch in tight coverage those both are more WR plays than QB to me.  Bryce has shown many flaws but I don’t think throwing the ball 20 yards to a player in coverage is something he or any NFL QB can’t do. He just gets sloppy under pressure and tries some Mahomes type backfoot throws that do require elite arm strength in which he does not have.
    • Again with the straw man arguments. You have Trump level of delusions about this subject.  Here, let me do you in this case.... I don't know if AT fuged your girl or your wife or whatever but your level of hatred towards a guy not even on the team is insane. I can't believe you keep hate watching all these Vikings games as a result. It's crazy behavior but, by all means, you do you.   Now...see how nutty that sounds? Go read this thread and see how emotional you are over something no one in this thread is talking about emotionally.
