I thought we were talking about mechanics not "stuff" in general.  My bad.

Sorry, my point was just that all QBs have things to work on and bad habits they pick up along the way  that  they were, for one reason or another, never quite coached on.

In college, you might have had coaches with an NFL background, but you're in college and there's a limit to how much you can work with coaches. Coaches won't work on development like they do in the pros. They just don't have the time for it.

I'm not sure any TE has ever gotten more bang for the buck for his bank account as Ian Thomas has. He's the type of guy who should've been bouncing around the league trying to latch onto a roster as the 3rd TE and yet we've made him a wealthy man. Good for him but holy poo we're a dumb organization.

We need a Mod to start a go fund me for the huddle so we can all chip in to hire a private investigator so we can get to the bottom of the how does Ian Thomas continue to be on this team mystery.

It was reported by some of the beat reporters he wanted David Carr. Not a small amount either...

Plus it was proven recently that frank, Thomas brown, and campy were not on the same page/thinking. It's a big mess when your OL doesn't know how far the QB is off the ball during the week. Brown wanted to try different plays and frank wanted to stick to their Frankenstein playbook made during the off-season.

It wouldn't surprise me if fittererererer told frank after a few weeks "guess what, we are trading for the #1 pick" before Frank agreed with it. FItterererer had David tepper putting massive amount of pressure to find a "franchise" QB and after failing to land Watson, stafford and the darnold fumble.......the only remaining way was to trade into the top 1-3. That maybe the biggest fail of them all.....

Mentioned something similar. Seems the all-star cast didn't agree on much and it lead to infighting and coaches going behind each others backs. Total dysfunction on the offensive side.

He HAS to stop hopping around. Jumping on his toes. Idunno if he was just scared and overwhelmed or its because of his height. But after taking a close look at the All-22 ...his footwork is insanely bad at times.

Canales has his hands full.

I just don't think you go from Heisman winner to inaccurate mid to long Jag. He can't be a bad as some point him out to be.  His rhythm is off with the routes. And he needs to stop staring down his receivers...(**apparently some of Reich's plays only had 1 option to throw to***) I do think he's fixable, but to trade away a proven NFL #1 WR, the '25 first pick of the draft, etc... you'd think we were getting a much more nfl ready prospect.

All that said, I'm praying he turns out salvageable and Canales, a better line, and quicker receivers will unlock something I saw a couple of times last season.

Also makes me think, we're also getting a TE, RB, and WR between final cuts and the draft. They're going to give Bryce every possible avenue to win. That also takes away any excuse. If he looks the same or worse we move on.

And they said he beat Dalton in camp?

Ima give him the benefit of the doubt. That Green Bay game showed me he does have something to work with despite his size. Now I gotta go back to the Alabama footage. Iirc, looks like 2 totally different players.

    • Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3! (Trust me bro) 3rd Star : 6/94 g/s - .936 save % - 1.59 gaa The Great Dane   2nd Star : 3 g - 5 a - +1 - 20:38 toi/g - 18 hits - 3 bs - 58.1% fo 3 PP goals and the 2OT series winning goal! WOOAAAHHH NELLY!!!!   And, your 1st Star of the series : 5 g - 1 a - +3 - 16:48 toi/g - 16 hits - 1 bs - 1 tk - 50% fo Zero, I repeat, zero penalty minutes for the series! MISSSTAAAHHH SVEEECHNIKOOOV!!!!!! Onto The Next: Now, we wait for the Habs to make it a nasty 7 game slog, while we recuperate. And, hopefully, get Nikishin, and some of the other black aces some real peactice time. We are gonna need those guys at some point. Because, if you think the Devils were dirty, hoooo boy, wait till you see what's next...
    • I don’t watch college football anymore (used to be Stanford STH but meh), but my wife is Hawaiian and her favorite color is purple, so I guess I knew Tet was my new favorite player to root for when he came out in a purple suit and lei and threw up the Shaka.
    • AJ Green is who I think of as well; the body control, fluidity of movement, hands catcher, always high pointing the ball with the occasional insane/acrobatic type of grab, etc
