Maybe we've just figured out that this 27 year old former 2nd round pick coming off of two season ending knee injuries has just been playing the wrong position his entire life and we're about to free him up to shine.

I struggle to recall such a thing actually working out but hey, we'll see.

That or the guy getting cut in camp because he couldn't make his last team will be the one to put that unit over the top. People on this board are still pushing this as a good thing.

There will be veteran cuts coming up, they can add one before the season starts if they feel what they have won't work.

True, we’ve been very successful the past few years picking through the scraps of OL cuts.

When you put it like that....

I guess if C is handled we can deduce someone knows something we don’t over there. But how would we know? It just seems typical. Seems like every plan has a black cat component.

It looks like they left a backdoor open to make another offseason of excuses for their jobs...or they are doomed if they believe it's golden 100%

Trigger word warning... I thought the consensus was that it couldn’t be done in a year. So it was not all going to be done and we knew that.

I guess we have a fan consensus that they should have fixed C before RB.

Or, maybe C is fixed and we don’t know it. Or it is just down their list a little.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
