Oh no, that's surprising.....................NOT

If average fans have been yelling to draft an ACTUAL center for years, you would think people that get paid millions would come to the same conclusion. Apparently not. Reminds me of when they put Byron Bell and Nate Chandler out there and then act all surprised during the season that Cam is getting fugged up. This has got to be the dumbest franchise in all of sports.

Thursday should be interesting

Either practice is uneventful today or it's starting to look a lot like last year. Hopefully the former.

The content creators could also be trying for some low-hanging outrage engagement. There's a lot more little quips than reporting on the action today.

From what I can tell the content creators and podcast guys are typically more optimistic then not.

Man this is sure starting to sound very similar to last season already

there is an entire thread of us arguing back and forth last preseason about whether preseason matters or not.  I would bump it but I think thats against the rules.  You can search for it.  It something about harbaugh discussing preseason.  Its a comical thread by people justify playing bad in preseason doesnt mean it leads to a bad year

Yep I don’t want to hear anything about how this stuff doesn’t matter

The offense has been getting worked all camp. After last years horrific offensive showing it’s beyond fair to be worried at this point

It really depends on how they felt getting out of bed tbh.

FPFO got called out by Diontae Johnson after their first day at camp and for the next cpl they were putting a bit more shine on things.

Whatever won't jeopardize their access while getting clicks. Unfortunately, outrage marketing is all the rage nowadays. 🤡

    • I've shown you numerous comps for other tackles in the same age and talent range.  His contract, taking into account his age, health, etc.  is the going rate.  It's a fair deal. I've shown you examples of how long it usually takes to find even an average replacement.  Hell, look at every tackle that has ever started for the Panthers.  How many would you consider a success?  They are not easy to find. After everything we've done with this team since drafting Bryce why would we decide to let our best linemen go and add a huge question mark at tackle?   FA is a crapshoot in which any guy available will have cons/issues.  If not, they'll cost a fortune.   Outside of a first or maybe 2nd round pic next year it'll take a few years for a tackle to learn the position at the NFL level.  There are still questions about Icky. Every vet NFL player deals with maintenance.  Between the contract value and history I'm not overly worried about his knee.  I contend his knee issue isn't anything to be overly worried about.  It's not zero risk but it's an acceptable risk.  Every player we draft and every contract we sign has risk.  You're blowing up his own negative words about his knees and ignoring him saying he is healthy and the knee is a non issue.  You have a strong chicken little complex with this team.  Being he has always been a Panther they are very aware of any health issues. We paid now because now is cheaper.  If his knee was really an issue they would have waited.  That tells me it's not the issue you want it to be.
