Ive only watched the first drive Colorado had coming out of halftime against Nebraska.

What im noticing the most is, S.Sanders has immediate pressure in his face the moment he gets the ball practically every offensive snap, which is insane.  IDK if Nebraskas defense is just that good, or if Colorados oline is that terrible.

Here's a funny play.

Nebraska RB has 2 Colorado defenders persuing him while he gets a rushing carry. One defender slips and falls, the other defender gets stiff armed into oblivion, and the Nebraska RB goes for 10+ while he shouldve gotten stuffed behind the line of scrimmage. lol.

LOL at Deion Sanders warning us that they better get his team last season.  They still ain’t shet.
Has Matt Rhule turned around Nebraska?
Mind Blown GIF

Thats what Rhule was known for, turning around COLLEGE teams. If he does that again, should that surprise anyone???

Tepper thought he could apply that to his NFL franchise and it failed miserably. But maybe that wasn't a particular indictment on Rhule as a person. Maybe he just wasn't cut out to be a NFL coach.

Rhule’s biggest issue was QB play last year.  The GT kid couldn’t throw.  He looks to of solved that.  Rhule’s generally had respectable D everywhere

No OL and no D were the story last year too. I think it's a coaching. Deion is teaching those kids how to tackle. LOL

IMO, no maybe about it.  He can coach 20 year olds, but not grown men.

    • New season new teams. Everyone we face has improved their team as well. There's now a full season of tape on Canales's offense and Bryce running it. When they win 7 games I will become a believer.
    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
