No they quite literally were passed over for 2 slap dicks from the ACC. Warde Manuel said himself " data points"

That fat fug.is still mad Clowney killed his running back in the bowl game.

Yeah, again,  they literally weren’t passed over for 2 ACC teams.   Clemson were the ACC champs.   That’s like saying they the CFP committee opted to put in Boise State and ASU in over SC.

They picked SMU over you.

Atlantic Coastal Cookies

You can't have more than 1 cookie out of the conference. Clemson deserved to be there as the champs. SMU had no business being in the picture. Alabama was screwed over for a cookie.

and I'm saying with my whole chest they would walk in and roll over half the teams in the playoffs. Since realistically speaking Clemson is 0-3 vs the SEC and they still put them in.

SC finds a way to BARELY sneak past Clemson, who doesn’t play defense anymore….now suddenly you think SC is King Kong?

SC wasn’t going to go into Texas and do anything different.  Score less points.  Allow less points.  Result would have been the same most likely.  So realistically, SC would have had 4 SEC losses on the year,

could they of put an SEC in over SMU? Maybe.  But it’s probably not yall.  It’s Bama.

And SC clearly doesn’t have the O to be a legit threat in  a college football playoff this year.  There is no great tragedy.

Alabama has two bad losses on their record. The only entity that screwed over Alabama was Alabama.

I agree Tenn and Texas both got easy schedules

with these super conferences they need a way to force a play in towards the end.

The 12 team format is a play in. Arguing that one team would be #12 over another is just semantics as both would get stomped. It is about finding the best team, not which of four is most deserving of being #12

Maybe go back and watch the Clem game again. Costly turnovers in the redzone by both teams. Easily could have been a 34-24 type of deal if both teams dont do that stuff.

I never said they were king kong. Only that they are flat out one of the top 12 best and thats a fact.

SC won the ACC title the week before in Clemsons own house. Committee was worried about optics over talent.

I've been pounding the drum that Beamer is a weenie since the Clemson game because he refused to lobby as a 10 win team and call refs out and eat a fine.

Then proceeded to say he was friends with Dabo before being thrown under the bus right after the ACC title game when his "friend" said "herr derr SMU better be in the playoffs herr derr"

Beamer always takes the high road and thats why his team is sitting at home.

Laugh if you want. Entire chest. Nobody wants a piece right now.
Got to watch our red headed step child and their door mat get beat like a rented mule and we have to watch the opt out bowl vs Illinois which by the way we were hand picked for meaning they thought we were better than both Ole Miss and Bama. So at least one committee knows ball.

The best 12 teams didnt make the playoff and Greg Sankey got played like a fiddle by that committee and he could have avoided all of that simply by not trying to influence the outcome of games in his own conference.

Should be fired high key.

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
