It really doesn't though.  Rodney Peete was halfway out of the league when he played for the Panthers.  That season wasn't about figuring out if he was the guy moving forward.  It was about having a replacement level QB that wouldn't lose games on a team with a great defense and a good running game.

Bryce wouldn't be benched until at least mid season, and he would have to be playing just awful I would imagine.  I honestly don't expect Bryce to be benched at all this season, unless they hang em up early around week 15.

I have no idea what the home crowd will be like this year. I'm not even sure this team has a home field advantage anymore. It should, especially early, but I need to see a decent home crowd to believe it.

      There is a feeling amongst Colts fans that Daniel Jones will not resign with them because he knows it’s his opportunity to make bank and they won’t pay it.    I think Mac Jones will be off limits because he will replace Purdy eventually (now or later) and he’s under contract. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacksonville moved on from Lawrence, probably not this season but he’s getting a lot of blame for stuff that’s not his fault down there.    Wouldn’t be surprised to see Rattler set free. He actually didn’t do horrible this season. Cooper Rush is just sitting up there for the Ravens. Did fine with Dallas but he’s severely out of system with them and probably why he had trouble when he started.  I would keep an eye on Davis Mills. I think he will be our QB next season. Hes the better version of the QBs Dan and Dave keep signing to the practice squad and doing a nice job in Houston. He is going to start and his neck is going to be the back up.
