That was what I was hoping to see him do, in a post that was really just a fantasy. 

But I think Tepper finally smelled the coffee. There was a multi faceted hire. Primary goal oriented but there is a secondary component which we also have to remember.

Canales had the status as a QB guy so "if this one doesn't work, I have the guy to keep me from making the same mistake already hired".
