Way, way, way too early(but maybe not) National Mock Drafts

2. Cam Ward QB

"Ward is among the most gifted throwers in the 2025 NFL draft class," Parson wrote in the quarterback's initial scouting report. "The combination of arm talent, mobility/athleticism and accuracy is growing among NFL scouts. ... He has superstar potential if he can cut down on mistakes/risky decisions."

6. Mykel Williams EDGE

Carolina tore down its defense last offseason to prop up a struggling offense. It is time to identify tentpoles of that unit moving forward. Mykel Williams is a young player who can develop into a difference-maker.

6. Cam Ward QB

Bryce Young didn't turn out to be a No. 1 overall pick on the level of Cam Newton, so the Panthers can try again at quarterback with another Cam a little later in the first round. Ward is looking like this year's Jayden Daniels as a Heisman threat and much-improved prospect after playing in multiple programs. Ward has been showing off his cannon arm and would appeal as a pocket passer for Dave Canales.

6. Cam Ward QB

One of the fastest-rising prospects in all of college football is the polarizing Cam Ward. There are some people out there who just absolutely love Cam Ward and everything he does, and there are other folks who criticize him for putting Miami in bad situations before pulling out his heroics.

How the hell do they figure we are picking 6?

My best guess is they are using technical tie breakers amongst the 1-4 teams.  Not actually guessing where people will end up

Worst case/best case we picking #2.  Probably #1

I wouldn't be mad at Cam Ward, but this team is full dumpster fire mode and drafting a rookie is setting him up for failure. The rest of the QBs in this draft are at best backups outside of Ewers and he's going to need at least a year to sit before he's ready.  Ewers is not worthy of a top 10 pick even though a desperate team will take him that high.

Quick mock I did earlier since the update.

Love getting jimmy horn jr in the later rounds to compliment shedeur. Love the pass rushers to fix the biggest issue on defense right now and the safeties are great value.

The mocks are weird right now, I did one and got Cam Ward in the 3rd

    • Why not? Dude was tough as nails. Came off the field after a vicious hit and showed the coach how his ring finger was knocked out of socket halfway up. You could see the shock on Fox's face. Brad just  pulled  on the finger, grimaced, got it back in alignment and went back in for the next play and blew up an opposing linebacker or two. Dude is legendary.
    • Motown let on like he'd like to play at least another 5 years in his presser. I fell he was truthful and us fans over did his knee. The guy started like 108 starts in a row and only missed like 2 games over each of the past years.  I think as long as the team agrees with his value that Motown has, he will sign another contract extension to push the void years into the 2030s.  OLmen can play at high levels up til 40. Trent williams is doing it, Richie Incognito leftd and came back to play until he hit 38. Lane Johnson is still playing at a top level while 38. You member Greg Van Roten, he's somehow still playing at 36 and he started here after being a substitute teacher years before. If you are able to get over the 32 year bump, its possible to reach 38 with luck. Colleges do a poor job of preparing new OLmen, many times that vet is better.   Rams were begging Andrew Whitworth to come back while he was 39, if you got the genes, luck and still willing to put in the hard work....it is possible to play until 38 as a OLmen*starting level*
    • Shaq was a fantastic LB, he just happened to have been standing in the shadow of a Panthers great and a Hall of Famer. He was team-lead starter quality for all 32 teams of the NFL. Don't throw shade on him, he was never just a guy.
