IMOP-Roethlisberger is going to be traded.

NFL will not take action until after the NFL draft, so Rams or Buffalo will have to deal with a 2-4 game suspension, but one of those teams will trade their #1 and then some for Roethlisberger.

Werd.

If the Steelers did trade him...they wouldn't get even close to his worth right now. A team taking him on would also be taking on the risk that more poo could be coming out on him....which could impact his ability to play.

2-4 games isn't enough in my opinion...but the league really is a bunch of pussies when it comes to dealing with it's criminals!

of course, I know, he hasn't been convicted of anything, and in true celebrity fashion, probably never will be!

Florio thinks he'll get eight games or more, and it could be a combo of suspensions by the team and the league.

it will be interesting to see how it all plays out....sounds an awful lot like he is a repeat offender and so often when that is the case, more and more women who originally weren't going to, will start stepping forward...the whole, strength in numbers theory.

Four women, so far.

In all likelihood, there will be a s--tstorm from the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson crowd if he's not punished on a par with guys like Vick and Pac Man. And this is one of the few times when I can say I'd actually agree with them. And who knows how the feminist groups would weigh in...

Not even the Raiders are stupid and amoral enough to give a first-rounder up for a rapist, no matter how good he is.

Whichever team he's traded to for whatever compensation instantly becomes one of my most hated teams. And if he were to be traded here, I would be handing in my Panther Fan card and I'm sure not alone.

Giving a #1 for Ben at this time is pretty much the dumbest thing ever.

He wasn't even charged, meaning he has already gotten away or was not guilty of the crimes he was accused of, so I don't see how the NFL could give him more than a couple games. They're going to review the facts and definately do something, but not enough to scare away a team that needs a great QB.

The Steelers are cutting bait, because they are not going to stand behind someone of his character. Rothlisberger is worth a #1 and then some. He's won 2 superbowls and he is young. I see the Rams or Buffalo pulling the trigger.

The draft is here and the statements made were pretty telling. The Steelers and the NFL will wait until after the draft to do anything with Rothlisberger, leaving me to believe he will be traded.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
