Yeah and what goalie was available? It’s easy to say “we should have moved on from FA”. I’m curious as to what you think the team should have done. Blaming Rod is laughable for that.

I cringe Everytime the other team shoots cuz you never know what to expect from Martin.. I thought he was improving but Florida abused him.. the Canes did seam to be out of sync on defense too which didn’t help

It’s been an issue for the last 4 years though, I’m no free agency guru but surely something was available in that time

Yeah, minus the 2.6 goals per game we have scored in all losses including this blanking.

Like what? Vicenza level goalies generally aren’t available for trade or in FA and if they are, our team would be depleted of what talent we do what to afford it.

You’re making a straw man argument. No one here has claimed Martin is a good goalie. First part of the game I correctly said he was playing well. Never predicted he would be first star.

Had he held the Panthers to 1 goal Canes would still have lost. Dwell on that for a bit.
