saying people should watch the games (when we clearly do) and calling folks stat watchers is the weirdest way to defend bryce

Obviously not because mentioning stats as a way to downplay his play is wrong.

We have been hanging with some of the best teams in football with a limited roster. Bryce is playing well with what he has to work with. If XL makes that catch we best arguably the best team in football.

Stat watchers bring nothing to the game. If you actually watch the game you don't need stats to defend good QB play.

Bryce left like 100+ yards and 2 TDs off the board because of his WRs not catching or running their route aka Sanders.

This football stuff I can teach you a lot. You just have to watch the games and get your eyes off the stat sheet.

you're talking about stat watchers being inferior to just like "game knowers" and one of your examples, the "sanders" play, is clearly wrong. that was not a route for sanders. That was a route for XL who was running an up and up that was late because bryce couldn't get it out in time. You can even see XL look back for the ball as Bryce is waddling around in the pocket.

Miles Sanders wasn't looking for the ball because Miles Sanders is not going to be the target on any deep developing pass play, especially running from the other side of the field. he was just kinda....there. rewatch the play it's obvious. you also don't even know which wide receiver bryce was throwing under the bus there, or if bryce himself actually knew what the right route was. bryce has whiffed on routes his whole career, and i'd say an actual "team leader" wouldn't poo on a team mate when he knows a camera's going to be on his face but i'll let your ilk work through that.

and "limited roster" what are you talking about. The panthers have one of the best running backs, best offensive lines, best slot receivers, and a defense that's been top 5 in the past month. If we're talking about limitations it's not the units that are performing well compared to others in the nfl, it's the little guy who's still bottom five in production and leads the third lowest scoring offense in the nfl.

"watching" from you just means you want something to be one way and are willing to ignore anything you have to to get there.

My man we have 3 wins on the season. This talent you speak of is not backing up the record.

We have a good Oline I give you that. A good Oline will make a RB look good. So that explains Chuba success.

Other than that we are limited at every other position on the roster. You need a good defense. Ask Joe Burrow how he's doing playing at a MVP level with a bad defense.

As for the Sanders play Sanchez literally called him out for quitting on the route. Had he kept running he had a easy TD. You don't stop in the middle of a play. He's a rookie and made a mistake learn from it.

Anything else I can help you with sir?

yes we only have 3 wins, almost like there's one position the team is deficient at that's bringing down everything else. i'll let you guess

chuba is averaging 4.7 ypc this year. He averaged 3.8 last year (still good), and 4.9 in 2022. Chuba is a good player regardless of who's blocking for him and what QB he has to suffer through. Bryce defenders need to examine their desire to poo on every other player on the roster to boost up their little guy like he can't see the table at a restaurant.

joe burrow is playing very well. Are you trying to say ask how the bengals are doing? And over the past six weeks, hard to say the defense has been the problem. There's a reason your little guy has been in position to make game winning drives (and not doing it, to be clear) at the end while only mustering 15 points all game.

Ahhh yes, the Sanchize, probably the dumbest QB in nfl history until Jameis came around. Let me know what the Butt Fumbler thinks.

    • Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
