Tee Higgins

I like Higgins, but I like locking up our home grown talent in Horn better. Finding a top 5 cover CB that plays the run like a DAWG is immensely more challenging than finding a #1 WR.

Higgins can help the team chase the points they’ll need if the defense continues to play like it does. They shouldn’t have to score 30+ every game to give them a chance to win. I’m also tired of KNOWING an L is eminent when the other team runs its 2 minute offense to close the game out.

Higgins is a baller and is a #1 wr, no doubt, but resources are desperately needed on defense.

Horn still has a 5th year option, given he's out this week and likely the last week too I'd like to see him stay healthy again before backing up the truck.

Tee Higgins is always goin to be what he currently is in Cincy and never anything better.

He is benefitting massively from playing across from Jamar Chase.

He is Moose to Chase’s Smitty. A nice player but not worth massive cap implications. Hes a 70 catch, 1000 yard receiver. He’s not a 1500 yard receiver. He’s not the missing piece.

If we’re making a deal for a receiver then it needs to be for a disgruntled #1 like Wilson or maybe even Terry McLaurin (who was almost dealt to the 49ers).

I would definitely pursue Wilson over Higgins.

Wilson and Metcalf tbh

Agreed....How was your Christmas by the way? I was temporarily banned for calling that pencil neck Langfart a wimp and another name I cant say (Because it makes Razors little a-hole pucker up).  Which one did you end up getting under your tree...? The John Holmes vibrating ass dildo or the Jason Mamoa stretchable throat with life like love canal fug doll? Either way its a win/win but wasnt sure which one you opted for.

We would have to trade assets for him. We wouldn't for Higgins. But I'm off the Higgins thing after that atrocious defensive showing today

Yeah they would probably want way too many assets for Wilson. He is one impressive WR though. Worth some assets but we are truly in no position to be trading away any at this point unfortunately.

    • Look, I've been pounding on the Canales shouldn't be calling the offensive plays thing since last year. He's first off, not very versatile and makes Ron Rivera look like a master of mid-game adjustments. Also, because I think you really, really need to be calling the offensive plays from the booth with a better view of the whole field.  A coach on the field cannot grasp how the opposing sideline WR is doing in coverage while also checking the two receivers on his side, plus keep up with how the line is doing and if the RB is in the groove. Heck, for the line alone he doesn't have the best view of where the RB is going to see success and how to best exploit it. Hence Rico saying, Yo coach, keep running this.  Still, all these things in there, no matter how hard I'm banging on that drum, I can't let it drown out my joy in getting one of those rare Ws. Even coaches can learn and grow from them. I sure hope he will.
    • I fully understand the questioning of Dave and BY, just the timing of your concerns is my problem. NFL is ultra hard to pull off the perfect game. In all my years Ive never seen a HC have the perfect game plan and have great play call after great play call.  Tmac has helped in every game, honestly more than I thought he was going to show. It does look like he was in fact the reason to trade AT and allow Tamc to feast on his targets. I have re-watched the wins, I have seen Tmac get red zone looks. Brother, he's about the 80-90% of passing attack. Dave is young inexperienced HC and he's learning on the job, hope he improves along with BYs confidence.    Its going to be alllllll right, trust me as your co-pilot.
    • You cannot hate his character, but he is holding the team back. There is so much we can't do because of his limitations. It just is what it is
