That sucks.

I never made it, but I have to wonder if the location sucked, or if he had "buddies" running things for him, and they were skimming.

Not the location !!!

Cosmos is kicking ass. Goes to show young pussy is more in demand than a washed up football jock.

Dang, his business folded, how about cutting a guy some slack? Lots of things could have caused it, but combine the low survival rate of all new restaurants with the economic situation and he's right there with a lot of other folks.

It's a tough time to be in business, any business, but at least he was trying. Were you the same folks that were laughing when he got concussions on the field playing for your favorite team?

Sorry to hear it happened, Dan, here's best of luck to you on your next venture. If it's any consolation, Gordon Ramsey's first two restaurants failed.

Well this is a bummer - I really was a pretty regular customer and enjoyed the pizza as well as the people working there.

I remember one employee telling me a long time ago that Dan could not figure out if he wanted a sports bar or a family pizza place, and thought that this would confuse people.

The definitely sucks... I was going to stop by in early March when I went to the Bobcats/Heat game but got to the game late and ran out of time afterwards, so I didn't have a chance.

Really sucks, I was so looking forward to eating there and hearing all the good things everyone had to say about the place and staff working there.

Ah, that is a big problem is confusion of your customers. You need a targeted customer base and if it gets too muddled, that can confuse them.

Families don't want to go to a sports bar and sports bar folks don't want to be around families (kids).

Still, this sucks and hope Dan lands on his feet in another endevour. I really wanted to try the pizza. Living out of town made it hard to get up there.

Dan endeared the Huddle and a few of their tailgates [if i remember correctly].

That ensured the sports bar crowd ,during the season.

After the season it appears the sports bar crowd slowed down .

Good Luck Dan

I don't know anything about the management but the food, service and atmosphere were good anytime I went there.

Sorry to hear it's gone, hope Dan didn't take too big of a bath on it. When the sports memoribilia was all gone, I knew something was wrong.

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.

I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
