I will say if there is a team built to beat KC it is Philly.

I honestly kinda think the opposite. I think it's a bad stylistic matchup for Philly. But we'll see shortly.

Hell, maybe the NFL rigs the game for KC and then has a rematch on week one of next year and does it again just as a flex and a fug you. I seem to recall that happening before...

KC hasn't faced a defense like this yet and they are highly mediocre offensively. I think that is the difference.

Conversely, the playoff/Super Bowl experience difference between KC and Philky is fuging insane.

I have a soft spot for Jalen Hurts but I don’t think he’s good enough to win this game.  At some point it will come down to making plays from the pocket on 3rd or 4th down.  If Josh Allen couldn’t do it, I doubt that Hurts can do it.

Can't believe I will have to root for the Chiefs... Eagles fans are possibly the most insufferable bunch of fans around

I don't know. You've got fans of Dallas, the Pats, UNC, Duke, the Celtics, the Lakers, the Saints, Taylor Swift, Trump, Musk, comic books, etc. There's a lot of really obnoxious people out there.

Hell, it looked like they had a 1st down twice and then a TE dropped a ball. Not sure how much I'd put on Josh Allen.

Not sure the difference is that great.  KC has a little more experience, but its not like Philly experience is non existent.

Fwiw, I think that both teams have great defenses.  KC has a better qb, but Philly has more offensive talent all around.  Could come down to special teams.

    • This won't be a trap game for them. I worry more for the next time we face Atlanta. That's a death trap game if we aren't careful.
    • Luckily, we've got more games ahead to watch and see what happens. Maybe he keeps growing his game, maybe we see that he's topped out when we hit stiffer competition. Or maybe he flames out against a team he should well be able to beat like the Jets this weekend. I really can't tell where all of this will end. I can say, though, there's no reason to hit the kid at the moment. Let him roll for as long as he can.  Heck, Sam Darnold is setting the league on fire right now, along with Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones. Examples of guys mired in bad coaching on bad teams (sometimes our own) that hit their stride just as a team did. Maybe we're about to get lucky.  I do know one thing. The biggest change in a winning Bryce and a losing Bryce is that when he plays fearlessly, he is a hell of a competitor. When he gets scared, and he has so many times, it all just falls apart for him and no team can save him. Bravery makes the difference and it comes from believing in not just himself, but his line, his receivers, his running back and the play calling. Just like most young QBs. And quite a few of the old ones. Rodgers couldn't make it in the chaos of the Jets situation. He can in Pittsburgh, so it seems.
    • That’s what I thought too. Maybe I interpreted it wrong. I was considering maybe taking a last minute trip but I think I’ll pass
