Men that wont babysit their own kids...

You can't babysit your own kids.........I have always found it funny that you will never hear a woman refer to babysitting their own kids but if I man spends time with their kids while the mom is away it is babysitting. :D

And yes it is real....2 of my wife's good friends have husbands that are that way.....the wives have to bring their kids everywhere. When the girls get together for dinner, go to get their hair or nails done, grocery shopping, etc....the kids have to go with them. It is a shame not only for the wives but for the dads and kids as well. Maybe boys wouldn't grow up to be such pussies/punks and girls wouldn't grow up doing anything for the attention of a man if dad spent more time with them. Can you tell this is a pet peeve of mine?

Its just an excuse to get the wife to ok hiring a hot young babysitter. :)

From the time my son was born until he was 3 years old, my wife worked second shift, and while I worked during the day so that one of us would always be with him. My mom did cover the two hour overlap between her going to work and me coming home. It was rough on our sex life, but we tried to make up for it on the weekends. :)

I love hanging with my kids. The realy early days with diapers and such I might have considered it more babysitting. But now we go everywhere and they crack me up and love my music. Win win.

Yeah once you get past the first 2-3 years its just not that hard. Just little people hanging out

This!

I spend as much time as I can with my daughters, which is hard sometimes because I don't live with them. I enjoy the time we spend together for two reasons; 1) every day that passes they are one day closer to leaving for college. 2) they are actually a lot of fun to hang out with.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
