Thread inspired me:

Chicken rubbed with garlic powder, salt, pepper, basil, and a morton's steak mixture rub. Grilled, then laid on a coat of Kraft bbq sauce before removing from grill

Onions soaked in soy sauce with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then Grilled.

Cucumbers: No grilling involed. Salt, pepper, vinegar, yum!

Mostly eat venison off the grill around the house. Grilling is really the best way to eat it. I don't hunt but have plenty of buddies that spend every waking minute in the woods.

Did a whole beef loin a while back and ended freezing half of it after grilling. thawed the second half and reheated it in foil for an hour as low as possible to eat the best meat ever. no kiddding. i was surprised that it worked as well as it did. A little yoshida's did the trick I think.

We do some chicken, burgers, brats, and boneless chops as well. Just whatever. the grill is pretty fun and a solid reason to get in a cold one once each night. Corn is great on the grill. I like those beer can chickens but its a lot of work to get it done right.

As far as the tailgates go though...Its always Brats if I tailgate at BofA as Saturdays in Chapel Hill usually get the royal treatment.

We have a guy who has a passion for it and a huge ass pull-behind and there is a menu for every season incl. a chile, rib, and wing cookoff each year. We do lots of Q on Saturdays and rarely will you see a burger or dog.

neat thread
