The Carolina Panthers have signed sixth-round draft choice WR David Gettis and seventh-round draft choice CB R.J. Stanford, according to Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald. Terms of the contract were disclosed.

WR David Gettis and DB R.J. Stanford, have signed contracts the team announced today.

Gettis was drafted in the sixth round (198th overall) from Baylor, while Stanford was selected in the seventh round (249 overall) out of Utah.

Gettis and Stanford are the first of the Panthers 10 draft picks to sign contracts.

I highly doubt Clausen will be a problem. He is doing everything he can to avoid the "diva" reputation and holding out for a 1st-round type contract is not the best way to go about that.
