IDK, if he came back at a reduced price I wouldn't mind it.  He played well down the stretch last year and it would cross a need off

I don't even give inches 1% chance to stay here, even with them respecting his professionalism. Dan is just lip service on this, he's gone.

*unless they screwed up his contract. There was a 2 year out - POTENTIAL OUT: 2025, 2 YR, $13,200,000; $2,950,000 DEAD CAP. Best I understand its 5 million in cap space SAVED. Besides one game and few snaps, he's done less than UDFA level. He does blitz pickup great. Chubba just out ran him with weak or strong OLs.

Carolina can do better.

President of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan spoke with reporters from the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday. He was asked if the outcome of Super Bowl LIX, in which the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the Kansas City Chiefs through their overwhelming defensive line, served as a reminder for the importance of having a strong front.

“Yeah, I don’t think we needed the Eagles game to understand that,” Morgan said with smile. “I think, both sides of the ball, you have to win the line of scrimmage. You have to be bigger, you have to be tougher, you have to be more physical—and that’s what we’re looking to do around here.

“We’re looking to build that defensive line like we built the offensive line last season. Give the fans a good product on the field, give us a good product on the field. And we’re excited. We’re excited about the guys in free agency, we’re excited about the guys in the draft, and we think we can fill some of those holes.”

It definitely sounds obvious Dan Morgan wants to address the defense first and foremost (not a big surprise). But I wish he’d put on more of a poker face when he talks about his plans. He’s extremely easy to read and I hope a team who wants the same player we want (Jalon Walker) won’t take advantage of that. I’m hoping I don’t hear stories like last year when we told XL we were going to draft him. It’s good to hear that Morgan feels more comfortable as a GM in year 2. Hopefully it’s translates to quality draft picks. We desperately need it. Can’t wait for the draft.

He didn't say anything the whole league doesn't already know.

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
    • Are we sure something hasnt happened to him because that seems pretty shitty to simply abandon this place
