Also, I'd kinda like to see them do a villain that hasn't been done yet. I wouldn't mind focusing on Ra's al Ghul.

Sorry, I meant Ra's al Ghul in addition to a new villain. He's obviously not a crazy guy, he's just smart. So it'd be cool to continue seeing him work with other villains, and maybe have a larger part instead of just hiding in the shadows.

I think he may look at it as "been done before" sort of thing. The dark Batman is no longer new, and probably won't get huge recognition anymore. A large part of the reason The Dark Knight did well was the death of Ledger.

But you may be right. And I agree, I think he would be phenomenal. Daniel Day is probably my favorite actor right now, so I'd love it.

Bullshit. The Dark Knight did so well because it's an excellent film.

Ra's al Ghul was killed in Batman Begins so that would require a series reboot or something like that...

. Unless he is a Se7en-style murderer leaving clues; that might be cool.

That's the first thing that came to my mind.

I don't think Nolan will have a difficult time making any of the Batman characters more dark and realistic.

The Scarecrow is a pretty silly character, and they did a fine job with him.

"Riddle me this Batman: if you have a milkshake and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching? And my straw reaches across the room..."

I'm gonna make some random picks that I could see work for a Nolan Riddler:

William Fichtner (My front-runner who has Bale & Nolan connections)

Casey Affleck

Charlie Hunnam

Nicky Katt

Sam Rockwell

*edit - I can just see Nolan creating a very different type of character that no one sees coming. It seems people are simply wishing for the crazy joker-esque type when Nolan is probably gonna go in a completely different and weird direction that will hopefully pay off.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was rumored as the Penguin at some point (and would be a good choice if they opted for that role).

If they did the Riddler, I'd imagine him as a pure cold-blooded serial killer, the kind that's obsessed with leaving clues, cat-and-mouse style.

Catwoman? That's all about the casting, really. And honestly, I wonder if the character isn't a little too cheesy for Nolan's Batman universe.

He's done pretty well so far with a guy who dresses up as a bat. If they wanted to incorporate Catwoman, I think they could do it well.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
