Honestly why the *** are guys like smith and TD out there doing stupid poo like this. TD is out doing moves out on the field a few weeks back without a knee brace and not resting and strenghting his knee back up instead. Now Steve smith breaks the same arm in the same place playing flag f**king football. These guys that not to long got hurt during the season should have not been out there doing this kind of stuff. But instead strenght training and healing up and getting ready for the season. But instead the team is allowing 2 important guys go out and do stupid things like this and get reinjuried in the same places. WTF is going on with the panthers FO right now. :willy_nilly:

How is backpeddaling considered doing something stupid. And I want you to go tell Thomas Davis that he should of been working harder in the gym to get back into football shape. Haha he'd whoop your ass. He's been working harder than anybody to recover from his injury from last year. ANd how is playing flag football doing something stupid? Um last time I checked...he plays football for a living and it would have been just as likely for him to get hurt during ota's. Would you call ota's stupid then? What do you expect these guys to do when theyre not playing or practicing for the Panthers? Live in a bubble? Get off these guys backs, sometimes poo happens.

This does suck. For one, now teams know his arm is obviously not very strong and each time this guy gets tackled they'll go for it, he'll have to be more cautious now. And yeah, most teams have their players sign contracts so they don't do dumb stuff like flag football, basketball, or w/e in the offseason, guess we don't.

I'm not freaking out, but we really shouldn't be letting our guys do other stuff like this. It's not about having a life, they can do a lot of things. Between this and Davis, both re injuring the SAME thing, I've lost a lot of (if any was there) faith in our team and handling the health of the players.

But he'll prob be back, but let's hope this arm isn't a sign of things to come for Smith.

Can someone please explain to me why so many people think Steve Smith doesnt need training camp? New qb, virtually a brand new passing game with 4 wr sets. There is thing called chemistry, which a qb and wr must have in order to be successful. When Steve comes back for the opener, his timing with moore is going to be fooked up.

Honestly, I hope you're not at work posting this stupid poo. Cuz if you are, Why the *** are you on here at work posting this stupid poo instead of doing your job?

I think it'll be fine he's worked with Moore before. I'm more concerned for Steve Smith, although this injury won't hinder his speed or his cuts you have to wonder when these injuries will take their toll. He's broken this arm twice now in basically the same area, he's had shoulder issues, hamstring issues, and we all remember his horrendous broken leg in 04 where I believe he tore some ligaments as well. I hope it's no big deal though.

because hes steve smith...

even with a broken arm, hell show up to the practices. maybe do running drills or be on a bike. im sure hell give the receivers and his new qb(s) some pointers.

Thank you. I do find it a little amusing you can break an arm playing flag football though. But Smith is tough as nails, he'll be ready to go before the season starts. If i wanted to talk trash, i would talk about what a bust Jimmy "8 3/4 inch hands" Clausen will be ;)

we should actually listen to this guy about Clausen.

Bills fans are experts at drafting shitty QB's in the last two decades.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
