For God sakes be strong in the offseason. It happens every year. Dude who loves football feels a sense of lonliness and lack of drive. That tends to lead to incoherent or angry posting.

I thought we had some pros here who knew how to pace themselves, knew when to shut things down and reboot and get themselves in Huddle shape before training camp to come out guns blazing late July early Aug.

Don't make me issue Pstall's Guide to a Healthy and Productive Off Season.

Go fishing.

Hit the beach or mountains. Take up painting or interpretive dancing. Ok that last one not so much.

But for the love of Karl Hankton keep your wits and remember only a few weeks before pads and sweltering heat and souless, sexless adult males knocking over small children to get an autograph of a 4th stringer while holding on to a Hardee's Big Deluxe.

You can do this. Hang in there.... :lurk5:

I lost all faith in this board's ability to hold together when Julius Peppers left. It's amazing that every single poster on here has faced trials exponentially worse than being a football fan yet some turn into emotionally unstable girly men at the drop of a hat.

What trials, exactly, could be worse than being a Panthers fan? :P

    • This. The Micah Parsons situation is an anomaly and it takes a moron with a gigantic ego like Jerry Jones to pull it off. The vast majority of these superstar/organization showdowns end up with a massive extension getting inked and everyone making up in the end - basically the Lamar contract situation.
    • We run a fair amount of big nickel under Evero, so we can very easily play 3 safeties between Moehrig, Ransom, and Richardson. Honestly, I would rather that and have 1 less LB on the field between Roseboom/Wallace. I thought Moehrig played a good game against ATL and don't really understand why his tackling grade is so high and his run defense grade is so low for PFF. I don't recall him having a lot of plays where he took bad angles or something similar on run plays (things that I assume would lower run defense grades).
    • Don't you dare pour cold water on hot takes!  Now we can't see anything for the steam!? Expecting logic from the Huddle!  Ha!
