read this yesterday evening and was shocked. I was never a huge fan of jeremy's but listend to the podcast daily while at work. as every listener of the show knows, Matt Williamson has been hosting in Jeremy's place since pretty much right after the Super Bowl and no one really mentioned why. makes me wonder how long ESPN higer-ups may have known something was worng or if he was battling other demons.

A lot of misguided posts here. For one he's not a predator because he isn't actually hurting children, he surfed for something incredibly obscene on the interent or acquired it from another person.

Also saying he is hurting our nation's children is an assumption, we don't know and never will know what exactly and who exactly those pictures were of. With current laws, he could have been looking at animated children.

With that said I understand why CP is illegal and have no sympathy for this guy. He clearly has no self control.

I'll go against the grain and applaud you for having the guts to say this.

Here's an analogy. If you bust up a dogfighting ring, are the assholes who just came to watch as guilty as the ones who abuse the dogs (and other people's dogs) to get them to fight? I don't think so. I mean, they disgust me, but not nearly as much as the guys getting their hands dirty. What I want to know is how these pervs know where to go to find kiddie porn, while the feds don't. Why can't we catch the bastards who film stuff like this? We caught the guy who posted Erin Andrews videos online.
