Honestly might be Nikishin pushing for it.

It is. I said as much when I mentioned it. Nikishin wants to come over asap. Agent has told the team, likely will be able to be bought out once his teams season ends.

Signing his ELC and activating him do not have to be synonymous

Anyone who has spent any considerable time in Texass knows how much it sucks.

Yes.  20+ years in NC and last 5 in Texas ... Carolinas are better in every way.  If you have to live in TX, DFW is the best area though.

maybe the Canes will be fun to watch now that the downer Mikko is off the team, it was brutal watching him half ass and sulk on the ice.

If the new kid plays with Halls enthusiasm, I'm ok  - that being said Tulsky still sucks.

I don't blame rantanen for not wanting to play in rods neuter all offense system.

Was a b*tch move him taking so long to agree with them today though

Mikko knew he was being moved after the game and that it was to Dallas. The trade details were finalized last night around 3am. The rest of the time was sleeping and Mikko’s agent doing whatever he’s been doing the last year for Mikko’s deal. lol

Can’t get down with this. We loved our three-year assignment in San Antonio and the plan has been to retire in TX when my military time is done (plan may be changing though).

Outstanding state parks in the hill country north and west of San Antonio, and while it feels like your living on Satan’s ass from May to early October, the weather the rest of the year is pretty great.

Been all over Texass. Beautiful state completely ruined by the arrogant, retarded Texans.

I couldn’t deal with the it being 88-92 between 10pm-4am weather in the summer with highs in the 100’s with indexes over 120 regularly and the high 70-80’s during the winter months regularly feels weird. lol

story time. I moved in late 2016 as a non diabetic and 6 months later had an A1C of 13.8 because the heat was making me dehydrated and I couldn’t drink enough water to keep up with how my body reacted to it.

So the other weird thing is Mikko basically accepted the same deal from Dallas that he refused to sign in Colorado?  Why didn’t he just sign the extension with them?  If 12mm AAV isn't enough, why not wait until the offseason?

Only thing I can think of is he got spooked that his value would plummet in the last stretch of the season with the Canes.

    • Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?
    • nope     This is why we come back every year.  Hope springs eternal
    • It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
