Dez Bryant Says, "I Didn't Know..."

If someone like Micheal Irvin asked him to carry the pads he probably would have done it. He shouldnt have to carry some loser scrubs pads.

You are a moron. It has nothing to do with how good the player is and you know it (and it shouldn't have anything to do with that).

I remember a super star QB who was too good to pay for the vets meals and would not carry there pads. His name was Ryan Leaf.

Just saying.... Cause your a star in the NCAA dose not mean you will pan out in the NFL or your better then everyone else.

I guess you're right....he shouldnt have to carry Irvins pads either. Afterall Dez Bryant is the god of this years draft.

Not only should they have drafted him but they should have given next years 1st, 2nd and 3rd to move up and get him if they had to. Hell If they can trade away high picks for freakin Everette Brown and Armanti Edwards then this should have been a no brainer!

Everyone who wanted us to draft him step forward so that I can kick a pile of cowshit into your face.

That is a bold statement. I think the 23 or so teams that passed on him very well might regret doing so in the next couple of years if not sooner. Time will tell, but it scares me that he went to the Cowboys.

He will do well but not THAT well.

Obviously Bryant couldn't be the god of this draft. Not even the son for that matter. Otherwise carrying another's shoulder pads would have been welcomed. Taking the example of the carpenter who washed the feet of his followers. Seems Bryant is very far from god like. Wouldn't even make a decent minor Saint.:D

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
