That was the toughest crash I've seen in a long time. His engine came out of the car. He could barely get out of the car and soon as he did he lay motionless on the ground. I bet you he won't be racing again this year.

Just for him to even be able to talk to reporters after that wreck says something about the car. They might be crap for racing but boy, they can take a hit.

BTW, there's just something with Pocono and really bad crashes. Allison, Park/Earnhardt Jr, Gordon, Schrader and now Sadler.

This is the worst crash i ever saw. Micheal Waltrip's car is destroyed and he walks away. BTW the engine is separated from his car too.

Those cars are a lot like the cars we drive on the road today in that the car may look like crap when its over but you have a good chance of coming out of it. They're designed really well and while the engine flying out makes you go wow what a hit its better that it came out and the front absorbed the hit rather than the engine go into the cockpit of the car. After seeing that wreck the bank and guard rail curving out like that really didn't look like it served a purpose. I'm sure they'll fix it now and its good someone didn't die or get seriously engine before doing so.

Not surprising. For an impact to know the ENTIRE engine out of the car, it would take an extraordinary amount of force.

Keep in mind they have only had the black boxes in the cars since....2001, maybe? My dad says Lee Petty once flew over the banking at Daytona and fell 40-50 feet outside the track. In his car, of course. That had to hurt.
