The United States Army just got a lot more...AWESOME!

Awesomeness!!

I just came back from MEPS in Raleigh yesterday. Took the ASVAB, physical, talked to the doctors etc and was sworn in. I'll be a "imagery analyst" which is just want it sounds like. I start basic training after graduation at Fort Jackson, and my job training is on Fort Huachuca in fuging Arizona, which is funny, because I've never been west of Tuscaloosa. I've been from Mobile to Maine, but never west of Tuscaloosa. Anyway, the pay after bills and fuging taxes is good, I can go to college after my 3 years and 38 weeks, and if I get shipped to afganistan (which is very probable) I don't pay taxes at all. I'm just happy to serve, and it will look awesome when I run for President in 20 years.;)

Congrats and thank you for your service.

I have been to Ft. Huachuca. Really hot in that part of the desert and the base is where most if not all MI (Military Intellegence) forces get trained. It is also a communications / listening post so if you make the right friends (and chances are you will have a Top Secret clearance), you can go into certain buildings and listen in on live Direct Action Operations comm. traffic as it happens. That'll give you a good dose of what war is really like and what the combat troops go through other than being in the line of fire.

From what I remember, "Imagery Analyst" = Where's Waldo IRL

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
