Greg Hardy getting some national props

Recommended Posts

Hardy = the defensive end equivalent of Clausen x 5.

Clausen fell way down the draft board because of his "intangibles" sounds like Hardy fell victim to the same stuff + the injuries.

I'd really like to see Hardy wear # 90, just to let Julius know he's been replaced. LOL

This and Trent "I'm not your buddy" Guy, are my favorite sort of nicknames.

As for Hardy, I'm very excited to see how he plays during the regular season. I'd love to see him produce more than Pep in Chi.

Still so much hate. Why? Did Pep rape your wife and daughter in front of you?

Did he kill your father? What is it?

Seriously, move on dude.

As long as Hardy has a productive impact, I'm happy.

I couldn't care less about whether or not it matches or beats Peppers production in Chicago.

I think a lot of fans are scared that Pep will be even better in Chicago. Otherwise, why make statements such as you did?

I don't know if it's hate for pep that was the motivation for his post or a hate for the pundits who assume we are belly up because we lost Pep. It would be ohh so sweet to make them all look like fools because Hardy has a better year. Like it or not Peppers will be Hardy's barometer for comparison. All in all I think you overreacted a little to his response.

Okay, you can think that.

I have no problems comparing him to the best defensive end that the Panthers have ever had.

It just the way he worded it, it's pretty clear there is some hating going on. As there is with A LOT of Panther fans. It's not justified, regardless what they think.

So I don't feel I over reacted at all. Just asked a few questions, and made an observation.

Calm the fug down, I have no hate for Pep, I just thought it was a funny nickname and it would be cool if he became better than Pep, I wish Peppers all the best in Chicago and hope he finds somewhere that he feels he can reach the peak of his talents. If you look, I have rarely if even made one post involving hatred for Peppers. Honestly I just thought it would have been something to show if we could not worry about losing Pep and the awesome gem we found in Hardy.

I was and still am quite calm....but I'm sorry if my response offended ya. Wasn't meant to, was just looking to know why.

As much as Peppers is one of the best DE's in the league, getting a pass rush isn't as difficult as people make it out to be. Meeks has done it for a very long time, both in Indy, and he'll do it again here, now that he has younger, faster players that can play the way Meeks likes to have his defenses play....fast.

In fact, lets do make a comparison..

Peppers had 12 sacks in a shortened rookie season.

Lets see if Hardy can even get the field time, let alone the same production.

I would love to see him do it...not cause of Peppers though, just cause of my hopes for Hardy to succeed.

Why was his rookie season shortened? Because he was taking stuff on the banned substances list. No one ever talks about the "naturally gifted" athlete that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar as a rookie. I'm not hating on the guy, just saying. I overlook things that guys do in a Panthers uni, but as soon as they aren't the dirt comes out. If Smitty was on another team I'd say he's a suckerpunching little bitch, but because he's the best player on my beloved Panthers I simply call him a mercurial little scrapper.
