We had a tougher training camp and we have a lot of young guys and I think that has lent itself toward having to reach out to more people and get to know each other.”

I can’t promise a perfect season but I know this team is going to win some big games this year and make some plays with guys you don’t even know their names right now. And that is exciting to be a part of, especially for somebody who has been here eight seasons now. It’s something that I can honestly say I’m excited to be a part of.”

This will definitely help in those 4th quarter down by a TD, games. I'm pretty excited on how this team will look in the regular season. Chemistry is very important. Maybe this is one of the main things that has been lacking in this team. If Moore can step up and really become a leader of this team, I think we will go farther than anyone expected.

I was at the countdown to kickoff luncheon when Gross said that. He seemed to be very sincere. Greg Hardy sat at our table and was a very nice well spoken kid. He did say he was going to change his number cause he didnt want to be associated with the fat guys (O-line) He said everybody on the D is calling him little Pep and wants him to take 90. Very humble guy and thankful. Said that the panthers D scheme is the same he ran at Ole Miss. He said he is gonna paly alot tomorrow.

good stuff. i think he should change the number to 90 as well, esp. if he plays as big as he has so far.
