Just read on Gantts blog that any rookies cut will have 85% of their salaries distributed to other rooks on the team per new nfl rule....

This should cement Gettis staying

Yes and its why Pike made it and Cantwell did not. It might put Jarrett on the bubble as well cause we will need ST players.

Really it is. He cant do anything but play WR and he dose not do that well. With Wright hurt we are going to need another WR and I doubt we carry 6.

Moore was there to begin with. I would suspect Guy make the cut cause he is the one that will cost the most being a undrafted Rookie. Well that and he did show he could be used on PR. Something no one besides Capt can do well.

Well, Moore is making league minimum or something close to it, so keeping him will not cost the team much at all (well depending on if they have to cut a rookie to keep him I guess). Jarrett makes a little more, but even his salary will not break the bank. I do wonder how much it will come into play. Guess we will find out shortly.

I certainly hope so.I personally feel that Gettis has the most upside of any of our WR's,except Steve Smith....

if it comes down to Guy or Gettis, there's no doubt it's Gettis. There's no room for both, and they'll have to make room for Gettis.
